The History of Hunt Construction
Chuck Hunt represents a third generation of building in the Hunt family. Chuck’s grandfather and father built homes in Central Florida for over 50 years. Chuck took this trade to the next level when he earned a Class A General Contractor’s license in 1992.
More About Chuck Hunt
Chuck has been an active member of the Polk County Builders Association since 1985. He has served in numerous leadership positions at the local and state levels as well as President of the Polk County Builders Association in 1996 and again in 2000.
Chuck is a founder and an original member of the Pac at the Gold Key level. He serves every year at election cycle in interviews. He has been a member of the Foundation since inception and has served a vice chair in 2010 serving as chair in 2011. He has served as sponsor for the Future Builder of America clubs at Ridge Career Center and George Jenkins High School for five years. He serves on the advisory council for Ridge Career Center as well as the Workforce Development Board overseeing all academies. This is done as representative of the Polk County Builders Association. Chuck serves on the Past President’s Council as well as a life member of the board of the directors. Chuck also served as representative of the Past Presidents’ Council to the board in 2009.
Chuck served as Chairman of the Finance Committee for 2010. Church has served on the Parade committee.
Chuck is originated and has continued the Blueprint Competition since 1995.
